Sexual & Gender Minority Youth Resource Center (SMYRC) is a Portland-based program offering a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth ages 13 to 24. SMYRC provides support groups, creative workshops, and community-building activities tailored to the needs of queer and trans youth. As a program of New Avenues for Youth, SMYRC is committed to youth empowerment and fostering a sense of belonging.
