About Us

Trans People Together started as a Portland, Oregon support group for trans-feminine people, which still exists today as Portland Trans-Fem*.

Our group has now grown into a nonprofit organization, focused on expanding our mission to include building community, facilitating peer support, and providing resources to all transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse people throughout Oregon and Washington.

We believe that trans people know best how to support each other, and that initiatives led by trans people, for trans people are vital to improving all of our lives.

If you are looking for support and community with other trans people, or if you are passionate about helping others find the support they need, you can help us make a difference!

Our Goals

Our organization exists to build lasting, peer-led support networks for transgender and gender-diverse people. This includes expanding access to support groups and maintaining spaces where trans people can connect and find community.

Our objective is to help accomplish this by providing organization and funding to trans people passionate about helping other trans people.

Support & Resources

Regular in-person and virtual support groups facilitated by trained community members, providing safe spaces to share experiences and find connection.

Discord Servers

Carefully moderated online communities where trans people can connect, support each other, and make friendships in a safe environment online.

Community Building

Social events, volunteer opportunities, and gatherings that foster connection, belonging, and joy within the transgender community.

Our Discord Communities

Join our moderated online spaces where you can connect with other trans people, share resources, and build meaningful relationships. Find local events, make new friends, have conversations, and support each other.

Anyone who identifies as trans masculine or trans feminine is welcome on our servers, regardless of where you are located. If you are unsure whether you are trans or are simply questioning your gender, you are welcome to join as well!

This is our support group for anyone who identifies along the trans-feminine spectrum. That includes trans women, non-binary trans femmes, and anyone who is questioning their gender.
